It is frustrating sometimes when you know you meet all the quals and then some and are a vet and do not get hired. then someone who lives in that area says you only get hired there if you are a frederick county boy. The question remains. Who you are? Second even though you are a vet are you currently enployed by the Federal Gov? Why do I ask? Cause most Fed Dept's will select people who are already in the Goverment. If you are not than your chances are slim.

I also agree with TooT starting threads with the opening statement that you did really does not help you any. I think your smart enough to know if not mybe they don't want someone that stupid. I sure as hell don't. It also sounds like your pissed at some of the folks at Detrick. maybe cause they were hired. I take it you know the guys there cause you named some of them. Hey PierceBuff you assjocky don't be bringing NIST Fire Dept into this thread. This fire dept has nothing to do with the hiring at Fort Detrick. Before the last guys were hired 6 to 8 other guys had left many years ago. So stick it in your ass and rotate it .
