Have any other Depts heard about ALL DOD firefighters must become NREMT-B not just state certified EMTs.

yes, it is going to have to be completed and implemented by the fall of 2006. Now there are some catches and you may want to check into it. For example, it is not a requirment to pass it if you were hired before 19XX, but you do if you were hired after 19XX. Not too sure about what each base or post is requiring, so check into it now. But as far as the national registry it is a go and that is coming from the department of defense.

I know places like Va. are kicking around going to national registry anyway. So I think you are going to see that more and more. I think its a $$$ thing.
