Ahh, Pumper 46.
As always you are one sided and self serving! Again only thinking of yourself. What about the guys left behind, the guys who got the shaft? You know that according to the instruction, you only needed one, not both. How can you kick our brothers in the teeth posting this? Lord willing with appeals filed everything will be straightened out. We are tired of hearing hurray for me I got mine.

Lt 46, for your information I saw on the horizon what was going to be needed. I went out on my own and got the training, not waiting for the training to come to me. I was thanking Willie because he submitted my dod certs.
Its not my fault that Willie volunteered, and went out to the region and trained everybody else and put our members at Annapolis low priority for their training needs for the next higher level. I have nothing to do with the inspector training coming up for a few, instead of Hazmat Tech for many. You need to take that up with chief Holzberger. Willie stated in the past that Big Ed, and chief Hendley had ordered him to teach everyone else in the region, that it wasn't his idea.
When chief Holzberger go's back up to the hill I'M sure we will never see him again, because he will always be on the road all over the region as before. My advise to our members that still need the training is to go get it on your own, don't believe in shallow promise's as we believed in the past, don't wait for the training to come to you.
Last of all, I was not shown favortism by Willie. Look around you, certain people were, and hustled along in the last few weeks to get what they needed. Not me, I was hustled out.
Stay Safe,

We have not had a true training officer since chief J became the Prevention King. When chief J was training officer he did an outstanding job motivating our personnel, making sure our people came first not second. He knew his job was here at Annapolis, and would try to look out for the guys.
On rare occasion chief J would venture out into the region to teach, but it was sanctioned, not volunteer himself to everyone, and the guys knew that and respected him for that. Chief J treated everyone equal, did not play games, or show favoritism as Willie has always done in the past.
Chief J wouldn't be gone all day, everyday running the roads to different activities to conduct bullsh+t sessions and gather information for gossip, and to gossip about everyone else. Even with our current acting operations chief the running of the roads still continues. Our current training officer has taught what ? Two class's since he was promoted to training officer. The Prevention King has taught no less then a dozen here. Our current training officer has taught at least two dozen class's in the region. What? Theres no other training officers in the region capable of conducting training at their own depts?
Hell, they ought to give prevention king a couple of extra grades, because hes wearing two hats, doing the work of two. That would save the government a lot of money. Useless is as useless does!

Pumper 46, Last week you slammed Chief J to the curb this week you all all over his balls, However you are right he did do a good job and still does.
Now you are slamming Chief W, Hey we might not always like what he does but he is fair about it and is doing a good job with the hand he has been dealt.
What we need to be worrying about is where are the new Firefighters and B shift is going down another man next week when Chief W goes back to day work.
Last but not least F**k Stay Safe go in and get it.

Fair? Yes , fair only to a handfull of his cronies, you need to take them rose colored glass's off xmas, unless your one of the boys now! Just last week you, several members and myself had several conversations together about several of the issue's and were all in agreement. And now xmas you come on here, and you are the one all over chief w's balls. What gives? You lookin for promotion?
As for chief J, I was on his case last week about one thing, but this is a different issue, and chief J outshines in his job as prevention chief, and still doing the training officer job, and he works here, not all over the region.
Xmas, you need to stop changing directions with the wind. Try being consistant
Stay safe

Pumper 46,
If you remember correctly, there were several classes that Chief Holzberger had set up for Annapolis. You guys stopped the classes because of compensation for training. Willie went out to the region where they took the classes and did not get compensated. If you all would have stopped crying long enough to see the big picture, you might of had the classes.

you guys are IDIOTS, you keep on beating up people on TWD and you cant figure out why you are called crybaby's throughout the region. GROW UP.
Remember one thing:
Dont throw stones when you live in a glass house!!

You guys didn't get when I was Chief and don't you understand it yet. I turned down compensating you because I know you would still go get the training. A few of you refused to take your time to get the training but most still participated in off duty training. And then you brought in your certifications. You were all fools. While you claimed training was important for your jobs, I received a bonus almost every year because I could show that training was being completed at almost no cost to the Naval Academy. So in the end, you made me look good and I was rewarded.
Keep up the good work... I am sure someone is benefiting from your "dedication"

Be happy you've been up-graded.....I'm still a GS-05 waiting on the waiver. From the outside looking in, it doesn't sound like you have it all that bad. Just something to think about from an outside perspective.

yeah you just keep lookin in from the outside and thinkin everything is just hunky dory. what a joke. we all havnt got our upgrades and all we get are excuses. every day is something new, and none of it positive. we are having training for someone to get a job somewhere else, yet we cant provide the training for the people that really need it. and its not even about the upgrades, its about training our people to be better firefighters. this all starts from the top. and its all fine and dandy for people to go take training elsewhere, but it seems to me that only certain people get off for training. then when others ask, its sorry dont have the staffing, or you get the run around, or paperwork gets lost. its all a fucking joke. for all the sitting around we do one would think we would be the best trained firefighters in the region, to bad we arent.
in regards to the upgrades and whehter or not we needed just one or all of the certs, we should have been trained AT WORK to the highest levels that would be required, instead we have lazy people, and worthless leadership, and people with other agendas that allowed us to be lulled into a sense of security. so whats next? AFGE takes over, we all get transfered to other bases, half of us lose our jobs because of budget cuts. just think about this, it can only get worse before its get better.

Capt. xmas, why are you concerned with B shift going down another man? You will still get the weekends off, Hap trained you very well.
Capt. protector, I know of only two class's that were cancelled here, one of them being arff. Hell, you can't even complete a class, even after Willie helped you get into special class's. You really took advantage of that man and made him look bad!

Don't count the arff training, Willie wasn't doing that anyway, Chief Rusty Dodge was, and did. Thank you chief Dodge and the fort!

Just to let you all know, Chief J paid for Chief Rusty Dodge's room at the BOQ out of his own pocket.
Some Chief's do remember their roots and put the firefighters first.

Chief J has paid for other expendable items out of his own pocket for this place to help the guys out! Laundry soap, dish soap, coffee filters, cups to name a few.
But it gets real bad when a firefighters have to use their personal funds(credit cards) to put fuel in Navy fire engines, then have to give their right nut to get reimbursed. I don't think big Jim G. ever got paid back for using his personal credit card for the engine.
It gets even worse when the union has to buy tv's for this place. Next they will be having us pay for chairs/ beds, bill us for the new carpet installed.
