I sincerely hope so. The "onliest thing" is that you never know what you will get...hopefully you will get someone with some common sense and a little experience actually fighting fires!!!

It is about time they finally got off the hump and got a station in the works. What did the old timers keep saying? Something like "Been promised a new station for the last fifteen years & we won't get one before I retire." Must have been the black mold that finally did it! Guess the worm has finally started to turn. (Especially if you can be rid of the Air Farce Chief !!!) Hope Local F-291 continues to get good news. You guys stay safe and watch your six. Station is in the drafting and planning stage now. Could still be up to two years before we move in, but at least it's the first positive development we've had to show it actually might happen!

;) :D Sorry for the long wait on the reply, brother. Been a little busy lately. Got moved into new house. Moved in girlfriend. :eek: Built Doghouse for 110lb German Shepard. Made Baby with live in Girlfriend. :eek: Married Girlfriend. Got promoted to GS-9 Station Captain. :cool: JUST A LITTLE BUSY!! HA! HA! :rolleyes: :p
