Question about Milford

I am looking at moving to Milford and wondering if someone can tell me about the Fire Dept. Is it vol. or paid? I saw the fire house and it is huge. I look forward to hearing from you.

Milford FD is a volunteer company, employing a driver and EMT to staff their primary BLS unit M-F. They may also have some P/T people for nights and weekends. Their fleet is mostly Seagraves, nice looking rigs. They are fairly busy considering the area and the rate of growth in that part of the state. They do get their share of working incidents.
