Still trying to see if I like the format or if I'll be changing it. I was thinking of going with a lighter background and canging the format around a bit. Still need to get information pertaining to our apparatus and a history of the department but it's coming along. Problem is finding the time to work on it. Likely wont be updated/overhauled til fall.

Like the site, pretty much what I wanted to do with our apparatus pages.Your site looks good, I like the dark background!
Giving each piece it's own page was the best way for a quick page load, and to give the info on each piece. With them all on one page the pics can take forever. We got lucky because our site came with the photo gallery too, so we were able to add more pics that way.
I'm a stay at home mom, so updating is not a problem for me. The problem is getting the info to update it! I keep in close contact to the FF who does our newsletter. He keeps me informed on the dept. news and I keep him up on the Aux. news.
I have 4 sites I am webmistress of and I sell stuff on ebay, so I keep busy!

We don't like eachother enough to ride in the same house. No that's not true. We have never thought that we should be in the same house. We joke around that he can't/won't take orders from me and I can't/won't take orders from him. :p We both help eachother's out when we can. Our house's are in the same township (there are three) so in all accuality, we are the same but different.

I've been with my house for 10 years. Hubby left for about 5 years and was asked last year by the current Chief to come back. He was there for 5 months before he was appointed as an Lt. in the second position.

My house specializes in Heavy/wilderness Resque and Engine company. His house specializes in Special Resque (rope and water) and Engine Company and thier tanker is set up like an aircraft tanker. The thrid house in the township specializes in Truck Ops. The township's 2000 census shows that there were 16,267 residents. The area of square miles, 33.71.

My house covers the most area including 9 miles of lake shore. Hubby's house covers all 11 of the retirement/nursing homes and covers about 5 miles of lake shore and they mutual aid our 9 and the other neighboring house's 3.

JATO stand for Jet Assisted TakeOff. They are moastly famous due to Fat Albert from the Blue Angels.

Thats mine. We are one of the busiest depts in the country but you will never see us in firehouse becasue techincally we aren't our own dept. Were just a unit of CDF. I'm also on that site somehwere.
