Hey guys, thought I'd post some pics from my recent trip up 295. Sorry I couldn't get anymore of McGuire, but they just weren't interested in having there apparatus photographed. Here's McGuire's Chief 2, and Crash 6,7,& 8. Not photograpged Crash 12, a yellow P-23 with Black numbers and white stripes.

Up next, a P-24 running as Eng. 4. Engine 5 is a P-22 (two wheel drive) and Squad 10 is the standard Pierce USAF Heavy Rescue. Both E-5 and RS-10 are marked in the same colors as the chief's buggy. Both are very sharp pieces. I tried three times to photograph them, and it was either "down time" for the crews or they couldn't find a driver in quarters. All three are equiped with a federal Q which I thought was cool for an Air Force Base.

No driver huh?? sounds like they didn't want to help you out any. I work at an AF FD, and there is always a driver in the station..

Sounds like you ran into some real shit bags... down time at McGuire.. pictures are probably the most excitement they'd have all day
