This is pretty close to flashing over I believe.
I wonder if the PPV is running? Hard to tell.. If so, I say bad move. Some people live by it...I say get it vented, knock it down, start the PPV to get the hot spots. Many many houses are foundations because PPV was at the wrong time or used the wrong way..
This may need cross vented.
Any more pics Phantom?

I didn't post the other pics, because I am not reallysure about the whole fire or conditions present at specific times, also I don't agree that it is just about ready to flash.. doesn't appear to be enough heat pushing with the smoke.
I posted it because the PPV fan was sitting there, either it was in service and helped the fire look like that or someone was getting ready to use it when it looked like that. Either way bad move....

It seems to me that everyone has picked out the PPV. I agree, bad choice without some vertical vent. Second, the civi front and center..who is he and why is he so close? Chief? Maybe, but any good department can have the chief still enroute to the scene and give him an accurate report of the scene. Also, IF he is the chief, he's not in gear. Property owner, still too close to the scene. Third, where the hell is the handline??
That's my two cents!
