Hey guys

Ive become a huge fan of DCFD recently and have a few random questions.

Some of the newer engines have (and i have no idea what you call them) on the front below the windshield a little 3-circled spinner that lights up with the lights and siren. Do those have a name or "mean" anything or are they kinda for decoration? Ive noticed they are differently colored on different apparatus - E13 has 3 red, T3 has 2 red, 1 White, some have 1 red/white/blue, some even have a green. Do the colors mean anything or kind of company preference.

Also I've seen on many apparatus have kind of 2 sirens. One is a traditionall fire engine siren, the other is kind of a background up/down police siren. They are used each by themselves or sometimes together - do the different combinations mean different thigns?

Any insight you have is appreciated - I'm sure I'll think of more questions. Keep up the great work

Red - Engine company

Green - Truck company

Blue - Rescue squads

Some units have a G.E Powercall siren.

Fireman Shuffle: I think he meant the colors of the Roto Ray bulbs, not company numbers (E,T,RS).
sbdlax22: The bulb colors are company preference.
