Hungrybus - They are still the "Naval Academy", but due to Regionalization, they now fall under the jurisdiction of the "NAVAL DISTRICT WASHINGTON"

all you are good for is half the story. why do you need to try to make it sound like its more than there is to it?

we haven't changed our name we are still station 46 known that way in the county as are all the other departments that were regionalized. they all kept thier county numbers, calvert charles st marys, indian head carder rock, NDW central but we have been broken down into battalions. we are the Naval District Annapolis. 2nd Batt of the Naval District Washington Region. thats pretty much all in a nut shell on how things are being labled. no big deal,

F'd UP - I think, I explained that in a very pithy statement:
"You fall under the SUPERVISION of the Naval District Washington"

I guess to further explain what seems to be confusing to even the employees of the region. The fire department name is Naval District Washington Fire Department. The Naval Academy has been assigned to the NDW-East. This places Naval Academy Fire Department station 1 and 2. This also includes CBD. Which is now considered station 3. To be honest all that has changed is door seals and patches. So yes we have a name of Naval District Annapolis but to everyone else we are still the Naval Academy. Stay safe and stay low Hungry.
