Can somebody, anybody tell me, where do you find any info at all about the Federal Fire Service on the iaff webpage.

I tried to call the 16th District Vice President, who is suppose to represent all the federal fire fighters of the United States and Canada, but he's not taking my calls at the present time, mmmmmm.... I wonder why.

Ooops, I forgot, there isn't any info anywhere on the iaff webpage that deals with the Federal Fire Service.

Your money is good enough for them Guys and Gals, but I guess, your just not good enough for them.

I don't know who you are or what you problem is with the V.P of the 16th district but, if you had a clue you wouldn't question him like that. He is always working for fed fire. Second to that why not ask your union president what ever your question is. If that doesn't work for you then try the 16th district web site http://www.iaff16.org. That should help you.

you are right a leach i am,, i am leached to you and will point out something positive each time you point out something negative. see the people that are members have access to these areas of web sites that you don't maybe thats why you can't find the things you don't want to see or you just don't look. See your poor attitude to just roll over and die and say whoooa with me no one is doing anything for me . what is anyone doing for me. There are 39 positions not just you. according to this so called report thats put out. Keep thinking there is nothing being done.there is much more going on behind scenes that happen above our level. The more you fight against the union the more it takes away from people to do things to help them selves cause they have to stop and take time from thier day to listen to you..Bring something to the table to offer aside from negativity and you might get some one to listen to you with the idea of hearing what you have to say. But until then you are nothing but a trouble maker.
Think about this,, since unions are a thing of the past. Why is it that Politicians seek endorsements of the unions??????

F'd way UP - Two reasons politicians seek endorsements from unions. For the money and for the votes, and as you can see from the last election, the iaff wasted alot of money on a lot of canidates, that lost because they didn't get the votes from the union members.

They sure got the money from the iaff, yeah they got that alright. All them little yellow T-shirts didn't do squat for one politician did it.

I hope something is being done behind the scenes, I doubt it, but I hope it is. And I do have access to the members section of your useless website. I told you that several times, go back and read about it.

And if I'm taking time from you, because you have stop what your doing to read what I've wrote here, you are a bigger loser than I thought. Whoever your Supervisor is, they better find more for you to do.

hmmm you sure do have all the answers to your own questions. Oh and by the way nice friend of yours to pay dues so you can have access to the unions website. He is a true friend cause he is trying to let you in on whats going on. But you chose to take that information and spew foul comments about people. see now you think that just because some one in on the watch desk that they are at work or during working hours. you are stuck in the old days of supervisors finding you busy work. Thats the days of old Do it so your not sittin around. come on now get with the times. I am not sure what local you had before the 121 merger but man your local really didn't do much for you,,, and that says alot about the people that were in that local. If you don't put anything into it you will get nothing out of it. plant a seed in the ground and what will it do? grow ??? maybe. but if you feed it and water it and nuture it that plant will give you a flower or a crop or a fruit from that plant only cause you put effort into , not because it was left to fend for its self. The union is only as good as its members as is any department.

FEDUP & Outsider,

When is this going to stop? As entertaining as it is to sit here and read the posts that you write, it's starting to get old. FEDUP, about 50 posts ago you wrote that you were going to stop responding to Outsider's posts, but you keep responding.

One of the best things about being an American is that you have the freedom to say and/or write what ever you want and have the freedom to have and voice your opinion. That is what Outsider is doing, he is voicing his opinion, whether you, I, and/or anyone else agrees with it or not.

Outsider, there is some validity in your posts. The IAFF and/or local probably can't save positions. Just like municipalities where the local government decides to close firehouses. They will fight like hell and may or may not win (for everyone's sake I hope that they will win). If they (we) don't win, the union can make the jobs of the remaining personnel a little better.

Like I said in my earlier post I'm a proud union member, whether I'm wasting my money or not that's for me to decide. Once again as an American I can spend the money that I make as I choose to.

I do have a question Outsider. When did you come up with all of this? You said you were an IAFF member under the old local. What has changed? If you could vote again would you have chosen the IAFF, AFGE, or no union at all? Would you have stayed a member if NDW Central remained their own
local?
