I don't know if this is factual, but I have heard that "The Joe", formerly of NDW Central E-41, who transfered to the "Back Engine" of the Naval Academy, is going to be transfered once again to 'B' Shift at the lovely substation located in Chesapeake Beach. Now, once again, this is only a rumor, but if it is true, the boys at "The Beach House" might want to get their act together, and soon. "The Joe", although a little old, isn't going to take any sh*t from any of the wanna-be's from down there. I know the great Lusby won't have a problem (he's one of the old school Mt. Rainier back step men), but the born and bred Calvert boys are gonna have a hard time adjusting. I think even the great Captain F*ck Stick (thats not a derogatory term, only one of endearment) A Shift Captain might have a hard time relinquishing his king of the mountain status that he has held there for so long. I can only imagine what the early morning conversations are going to consist of there....
*Ring Ring Ring*
"Hello this is Calvert Fire Communications, how can I help you?"
"Yeah, this is Captain D'Intino of Company 15, put us out of service until tomorrow morning at 0700 hrs."
"Yes sir, have a good day"
Yeah, stand by to copy, "The Joe" will leave his foot print in more ways then one.
One last thing, what are you guys going to put up for his picture on the website? I bet you might start with something that resembles a horse, but much smaller.
