Anyone know of websites where you can watch fire engines respond to calls? For example www.dcfd.com has run clips of many of their trucks, I'm looking for departments around the country with similar videos. Thanks in advance

here's one that a guy made that's not on the website. Good stuff, not too many people are crazy enough to mount their nice cameras to the side of fire trucks.

I remember the original request was for videos of responding to calls. The below department has several videos shot from inside the cab recording the actual response to calls.

Can someone suggest good photo editing software. Also how do you edit videos and get them on the website. I have tried connecting video camera to computer. I can transfer photos but cannot get it to recognize video.

What exactly do you want to edit? If you're just going to do clips, Nero has a nice little editing feature in their package, along with some really nice audio editing tools. Don't get Nero 7.0, see if you can find V 6.o, it works much better.
If you're looking to make DVD's from home video, making menu's, transitions, etc., Sony Vegas is a great program. It takes a bit of time to learn, but if you can read and follow instructions, it isn't difficult to use. The full version is around 4 bills, but if you buy the Platinum Version, you can find it for under $100. That's the one I have and it has way more features than you'll probably need, at least it does for me.
