Anybody have any information on the "new" Navy Region East?????
I understand it will encompass from Virginia to Maine with the Fire Chief in Hampton Roads.

Come October 1st that's the way it'll be!! I'm in the NE region now and we are getting slammed as usual...The area here is supposed to get regional chiefs, i.e. one fire chief will control two bases and he will report to the MidLant chief. We've been told that this concept (one chief, two bases) is currently on hold but who knows! Should be an interesting summer and fall...

I know there is one District Chief here in PA for Phila, Willow Grove and Mechanicsburg. Good luck to you all cause it's been HELL here since they took over.

why, cause LT doesn't have a clue? does he come to work now-a-days?

As long as LT has had his meathooks in at WG it was, is and will be hell. When NAWCADWAR was near the end, and they let LT be the "admin chief", he tried his shit there, too. But the appointed (acting) Asst. Chief (who was also an AFGE Shop Steward and had to deal with the Clowns who were in charge of NAWCADWAR Fire Dept for 20 years) stood up to LT and told him where to shove it......Now the Yard and Mechanicsburg get to feel the warmth.........

Haven't had much trouble with LT. Either he won't or can't make a decision without the OK from down south might be helping. Our Local here is keeping their heads spinning and they are trying everything they can to break our contract, to no avail. Can't wait for the "Northern" half to come aboard, as they aint seen nothin yet.
