I don't recall myself mentioning USMA was a fire factory. Can’t see why that would be mentioned? We know that isn't the truth!

There are two kinds of firefighters out there.

Type one are the guys that feel the need to show themselves off. They are ones with the burnt helmets from training or ovens set at 450 degrees. You know the guys that have the same FDNY colors on their rigs. They feel the need to post ridiculous bullshit calls to show they are busy and on the job so to say.

Type two do the job and go home. They laugh and the guys above. Keep posting Type one it is funny!

Fire consumes house at West Point

November 24, 2006

West Point -- An old, abandoned caretaker’s house on the West Point military reservation was destroyed by fire this morning.
West Point spokesman Maj. Tom Bryant said a passing motorist spotted the blaze around 5:15 a.m. and called 911.
Firefighters from the Fort Montgomery and West Point fire departments were first on the scene, while the Storm King Engine Co. in Cornwall-on-Hudson and the Continental Village Fire Department in Garrison each sent a tanker to the scene. The two-story house was at Camp Shea on Mine Road in the southeast corner of the West Point property.
Bryant said there was nobody hurt fighting the fire, and no one lived in the house.
“It’s been abandoned for years and years,” he said.
There was speculation the fire started when someone got careless with a campfire, but Bryant said the damage was too extensive for investigators to determine an exact cause.

I like this guy ! :D

I still find it great out of all the VA fire departments out there in the USA. There is still the need for some individuals to post what happens to the ones in the lower part of NYS. The mentality of these firefighters boggles me. The craving and the urge to post the war stories and battles they fight each day blows my mind. Like I have said before, there are people that do the job and know they do, and do not have to post or brag about it. Then there are the others that have to post something to get there kicks and know they didn't do shit. This sickness will never end it seems. I hope someday you realize there is more to life then posting war stories and ON THE JOB TALK.

I am done making my point.
Good Luck and stay safe!
