Those are all good questions. At this point I am just looking to see if there is any interest in this area. Price and Dates I would have to work on. Location would be the Lower Hudson Valley area. The Last time RTR was here we held the class room at the Rockland County Fire Training Center and the hands on was around the area to include the "GUNKS" in New Paltz.
As far as the Credentials RTR is not a NFPA or IFSAC agency, with that said they do follow NFPA standards (equipment/safety factors). I have many NFPA and IFSAC classes and I can tell you RTR is above that level. It is truly Instructor Based Training. All aspects of the Rope System is analyzed and you have a true knowledge of the systems you are building once the class is complete. They teach you why you are doing what you are doing; instead of do this because it works. It is a challenge both physical and mental.
Any other questions feel free to contact me either on here or @ kmi034@hotmail.com
