Passing of Local F - 151 Member

It is with deepest regret to announce the Passing of Fire Fighter/Technician Karl Wagner. We got the word late last night that Karl died as a result of injuries received in a collision on his motorcycle with a pickup truck in Shreveport, La. Karl's wife Nadia was critically injured and is fighting for her life at the LSU Trauma center.

Please keep Nadia and both of their families in your thoughts and prayers during this tragic time.



Those of you who knew Karl, knew him very well and that riding his new bike across country with his wife was one thing that he was looking forward too!

He enjoyed talking about it every minute to all of us at work.

Karl will be greatly missed by all of us in our department!

Unfortunately yesterday Nadya passed away due to injuries sustained in the motorcycle accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her's and Karl's families.

Viewing Thursday August 31, 2006 @ 14:00 - 16:00 & 18:00 - 20:00 @ Lee Funeral Home 6633 Old Alexander Ferry Road Clinton, Maryland 20735.

Funeral Friday September 1, 2006 10:00 @ Russian Orthodox Church of St John the Baptist 4001 17th Street Northwest Washington, DC 20011.

The dress for Walter Reed will be Class A for those who have them, dress uniform long sleeve shirt & tie for the rest of the department.

Additionally, Graveside services will be at Meadowridge Cemetary - Rt.. 1 & Meadowridge Rd in Elkridge, Howard County. Reception following at Savage Volunteer Fire Company, 8925 Lincoln Street, Savage.
