Just curious, does anyone here watch this show? I've been into it ever since it started, due to my nearly life-long interest in big rigs. For those not familiar with it, think "Pimp My Ride" for the 18-wheeler crowd. Or maybe "Overhaulin'" without the extra-curricular theatrics.
This week's episode was rather interesting. They made over a rig for a driver who runs with a volunteer fire department in PA on his off time. The end result is kind of the truck equivalent of the OCC Fire Bike. Some people might like it, some might think it's too much. They named the truck "343" in tribute to the fallen brothers from 9/11.
The show airs on CMT (Country Music Television) on Friday nights at 8 PM, and is replayed numerous times during the next week. Check out http://www.cmt.com to see when it'll be on again. Definitely worth a look.

Yea, I actually watch this show when I catch it channel surfing. Interested because I actually drove a truck for a little while back in the 80's. I also watch the other shows when I can catch them. I did see the episode you refer to. It's amazing what you can do to a truck, inside and out. What gets my eye with "Trick My Truck" is the paint work. Their guy does some incredibly beautiful graphics.

OK, so I cant get alot ov tv over here (actually now, I get absolutely nothing). Do they have like a website or somewhere where I can look at pics? As a trucker, myself (sorta), I would like to see what they can do to those things nowadays. Then again, the pics couldn't capture the true essence.
Oh well, c'est la vie. A girl can dream, right?

Try CMT's site, I haven't been there, but they most likely have something there about it. It is a good show, I've caught it a few times, and last Friday I made sure I saw it. The truck was great!

It was a good episode. I caught bits and pieces of it. My thoughts were that it's been done before. I liked OCC's fire bike better.

Whoa, back up a minute! Where in PA does this guy run. I'm wondering if it is the same Bill Simcox I know. Not much information on the page. Thanks for the link!!! :) I am forever indebted.

Not sure where he runs, but he is married and has I believe it is 2 kids. Not tall, dark hair, mustache. does that help? His wife wanted it done because he works so hard so she can be home for the kids.

Observant? Nah....just went back and watched the tape. ;) :D
Hog.....that's the one I was referring to in the original post. They're replaying the current episode a bit more often than they did last year. More chances to catch it if you miss the first one, I guess.
Wonder how long it'll take them to produce it on DVD?
Oh, and for the record, the guys have their own site as well. http://www.chromeshopmafia.com
