f-121 is Impotent as a local!!!!

What about your poor dues paying Brothers at CBD, why can't you give them any answers to their question about closing.

I'll tell you why, because your useless as a local, and don't care what happens to them, all you want from them is their money.

Yeah. Impotent FD. Impotent Union. Impotent Union Name.
IAFF="I'm Afraid to Fight Fire"

I understand that those guys are already looking for jobs somewhere else because the "union" won't even try to get them put somewhere else in NDW Fire Department. Just part of being in management's back pocket.

local f-121 is pathetic, the officer's of this local are worse than a pack of lemming's, they are all followers, not one of them is a Leader.

If the iaff, told them to eat S**t, they would, and then they would say Thank You.

Now they are endorsing every loser the iaff and the pffmd are backing, answer me this f-121, what did any of these canidates do to help your Brothers at CBD?

The answer is "NOTHING", now you want to endorse them, I wonder how much of your members hard earned union dues are going to be spent backing these canidates.

What a bunch of Hypocritical SOB's you sorry F**K's are.

Well gang...I see that management (both active and retired) are laughing their asses off at you all. THEY are NOT going to lose THEIR jobs or positions. The UNION "brothers" are NOT going to lose THEIR jobs or positions (or their other "perks"), but YOU are going to take it on the chin! At least save some of your hard-earned money and stop paying dues to an organization that CAN'T do diddly for you ON the job, but seems to have a LOT to say about what you do OFF the job! Plus, if enough of you all bail, then there won't be any reason for the "union officers" to have all those "perks" that YOU are paying for! They just might actually have to WORK for a living like you!

And for you poor slobs at CBD...At least you can know that you are not the only ones to get shafted. While some of the other NDW "companies" laugh, the preparations are underway to close and/or down-grade other stations. Are you listening up there in Carderock? You're next on the chopping block! Indian Head...Are you ready to lose some more people? Oh yeah. How do you all like that nice "reserve apparatus" that's supposed to be available? And you boyz at Pax don't want to get too comfortable either. I see cutbacks coming there (some more) soon, too! Where's your "union" NOW?

The first place they should start to cut apparatus and personnel is right there at Bolling. Why have them, they don't run, the DCFD doesn't want them and the apparatus can be used elsewhere. Everyone within the NDW system is like a duck in a shooting gallery, only a matter of time before a crackshot starts to take aim and pops you off one at a time.

Face it f-121, you're Impotent against the CNI, Stillwell and HRO, you have no pull what-so-ever.

Your powerless, give-up, you've been Beat, just face it.

Hang in there, remember the movie "Invincible" he never gave up and eventually played pro football with the Philly Eaglesand neither should you. Giving into the ill-will, deception and things that are down-right wrong has never been the USNAFD and never will.

Put up the good fight even if you are right or wrong.

Power is an illusion.

fire (if you were ever a Chief) chief46, what you are, is a dweeb, Outsider is right, the Local is powerless against CNI, HRO, and Management, they can/will do nothing (but take our money), it's/that's been proven time, and time again. We are no better off now then we have ever been, to tell you the truth were worse off now. Moral is in the shitter, the F/F's are getting tired working all this O/T, and even when Mangement was willing to lower manpower over the Holidays (to let some of the F/F's spend time with their Famalies), the Union said NO!!!!!!!!!! It was only going to be a one time thing, but no the Union wouldn't even look out for us.

Like I said before, were getting "SCREWED" by both the Union and Management, but Management isn't taking our Money while they do it.

WTF??? (again)

The UNION said NO???!!

Did any of the Union Officers get time off for the holidays?

WHAT was in their heads?

You're correct! The Union AND Management is screwing you!

Same thing with that gawdawful shift schedule! How come some
of you aren't writing the Federal Laber Relations Board? Or your
congressman? Get away from the Union, Management and the
status quo! You DO have RIGHTS! Get help!

Here are some topics you can address...

Fatigue and employee burn-out affecting workplace safety.
Life hazards.
Selective treatment of employees. (You know who they are.)
Hostile working environment.
FAILURE TO BARGAIN IN GOOD FAITH!
FAILURE TO REPRESENT!
Failure to TIMELY notify employees of adverse actions!
Personal hardships as a result of EMPLOYER (Management) actions!

Steny might be a good place to start.
Babs is also the federal employee's friend.
There are a FEW others who could also help.
Warner (Virginia) is another who comes to mind. (former SECNAV and
now Senator)
(Don't forget an anonymous "tip" to the media ala DCFD)

And don't forget the various and numerous NAVOSH and OSHA
safety violations as a result of these working conditions!

Hey Fric & Frac, instead of wasting your members time and money, running up and Kissing A** on Capitol Hill, why don't you two start jumping up and down on certain people's desk's here in the command, and demand answers to our problems here, I hear their are plenty of places you can go to, other than Capitol Hill that will help us.

Oh, and by the way, how is HR 1 going to help any Federal Firefighter, I see why the iaff wants this passed, because I see numerous ways it will help Firefighters in a City or County, but I see only a couple ways it will really help any Federal Firefighter.

Hey Fric & Frac, instead of wasting your members time and money

Not sure who you are referring to here but according to one of the ELECTED leaders they take care of business on the Hill on THEIR time and on THEIR dime. I guess until you start paying their salary you have no real say what they do on their time. So all you have here is another pointless bitch.

My suggestion, if you aren't happy with the time and efforts they are providing without compensation, FIRE THEM! But then you might have to step forward and do something other than jaw jacking!

Don't hate the players....

Mr Outsiderer:

The LAW of which it appears that you know little about, we call your type fire house lawyers that know nothing about represenation. The Command at any level will only address an issue if they want you to know , thats there right.

You can bounce all over any ones desk as you say , that will do one of two things , 1. get the hell out of my office , 2 its managements right to take the proper risk and action when we see fit.

There are things the union can do 1.file a union ULP. 2, file a union greavance ,3 request for information under 5 CFR 7114 , and that may be hard to get the information.

Another area is ask your capital Hill rep. for a congressal review, inquiry on the issue.

Mr. outsiderer it seems that you must have a short time in the federal service, let me tell you maybe you need to go to the privet sector, where they work for their money, when was the last fire you were on at your location , the federal fire departments have the lowest fire lost in the country. for the dollores they protect.

Management : knows that and they are looking at cutting jobs only because of that.

Remember one thing the instulation commander is your boss !!!!! maybe you dont know that , the fire chief as well is being told what he will do and not do. he does not have to tell you any thing or maybe his boss is telling him what he is allowed to tell the union and the employees.

Do your home work before you bitch all your doing is making an a___ out of your self .

Have F :D ;) un
