As always, f-121 only cares about the "Members" at the academy, nowhere else

Not even a little mention on the "Members" web page, about the "Member" at Bethesda, who's Mom passed away.

I just called a local officer and he advised that the "member" requested that nothing be put on the web site. You could learn a lot if you pick up the phone from time to time and ask questions like I do.

Dork46, We can't call from here, it's Long Distance, and we get our PeePee smacked by people like you, if we make Long Distance phone calls.

So you can't use a government phone to make an official business related call to your union rep? I say that is bullshit. Grow some balls and stand up to Rick & Tommy.

And I know each Battalion has a rep that you can call or even see in person.

Drop a dime and make the call... Simple as 1, 2, 3!

Hey Dick46, The last time I checked, you couldn't discuss or participate in Union business/activities while at work, in the Federal Government.

Has this changed?

You unfuckineducated assholes watchdog and outsider. You have always been able to discuss union business and activities as long as you log your official time and notify the supervisor. NOW SHUT THE FUCK UP AND MOVE ON CRYBABIES.

It never was the law, you were just too stupid to challenge anything anyone with a white shirt said! Here is a secret - Because of idiots like you, Chiefs like me get away with way too much! Don't let this out (the fact that you are an idiot, that is)!!!!

"No Chief, don't spank me again. I am stupid and will take your word for it. Where is the cliff you want me to jump off of?"

Dork46,

Per our HRO and the GAO, why don't you learn the rules before you flap your lips, no wonder your in management, (if you even are):

"Union activities at or within a federal agency during working hours can only range from representing employees in "FORMAL" complaints against management or by management, to bargaining over changes in working conditions, or in the negotiating of union contracts with management."

#1Asshole, Your right, but to do this legally you have to take A/L. You "UNEDUCATED" and "UNQUALIFIED" Rectum.

Outsider,

You are again wrong. I would love for your moronic ass to provide specifics (code section, case law) that supports your uninformed opinion. Members always have the right to bring concerns or grievances to their union rep. At no time has ANYONE at NDW EVER been charged A/L for time involved in discussing grievances or other concerns.

Chief46, Talk about a "Moronic Ass" you fit that discription to a TEE.

First, if you want to find Codes, and Case Laws, you go search for them, I have, and know what they say, I'm not doing your "Homework" for you.

Second, It looks like your reading skills are those in the 8th Grade skills level, but that dosen't surprise me (if you're management). If you would read my reply more closely, it states "FORMAL" complaints against management", the last time I checked into that, that was called a "GRIEVANCE", but a formal grievance, is a written grievance, their is where we are covered. So if I'm caught making a telephone call, and found to be discussing union business, I'm in violation, and could be brought up on disiplinary action, by someone like you, a management puke (If you are management, but I don't think you are).

You are stretching... Go ahead and keep believing the idiocy that you are spewing. I suspect that the only one stupid enough to believe this nonsense is YOU!

In my 25+ years of government service I have never known of anyone to ever be subjected to disciplinary action for "speaking" with a union official (on the telephone or in person).

Now let me see where can I find those Codes, and Case Laws?

The hidden and well informed OUTSIDER, where oh where are you from? Could you be management, don't think so! A inside union member, maybe. I think you should run for President so we could see how you do. You have a wealth of knowledge as a shit house lawyer, and that could prove helpful in the future.

Ever wanted to know what it feels like to work at the academy. Kinda like this, its either the CNI, management, the union or your brother firefighters (the Shark) and your the main course!

As always, f-121 only cares about the academy, nowhere/nobody else

O/T out the ying yang at Central, but we don't care about our members there, we need two extra positions at the academy, so "WE" can get off, to go to Capitol Hill and Suck A**.

Chief46

O/T out the ass at the NA & the Outsider thinks that Central is the only ones working OT!

Give me a break, the only difference between the two places is one isn't crying about it like the other. Eitherway, O/T is out of the control of the hands of anyone the rides a fire truck. The "control" is in the hands of the one wearing white shirts with nights, weekends & holidays off making over $130k.

Maybe you all need to look at other bases around you they are working OT as well , they would like to be home or be off as well. some bases they work a 12 shift , or no more than 36 hours stright, there are times he works 24 hours but not 72 stright, they work there 3 day break , this is an issue that can be negotiated ,useing some commen sense . yes the white shirts work over time as well, not as much but they do. The way I see it it seems that those who are complaining , they are losing money at there part time work . That's too bad because they for got which is most important , there firefighter job , or there part time job. I wonder which one they are going to retire from.
Everyone around the country in all services are working OT, This is why they are looking at changing the response standards to cut postions. When was the last fire you had , they know when , they are looking at taking the risk and cut postions. until the new standards come out they will make the move. Closing stations reduceing eng. co. reduceing manpower on vehicles. and many other areas..... Than what are the cry babies going to do than.
Sounds like they cryed them selves out of a job. Remember its coming around the corner NSPS , Pay Banding , no raises, performances standards
will apply to how you performe , including crying about what you do or dont do. 2007 will be the year we all need to watch very close. Yes the union will be the only one who may be able to slow the process, or keep you posted on where management is going in this area. and the union may have no say on what management will do or not do , you all better think about this very close. :D

The word on the street xmas, is the Shut-down date has been extend to 04 Feb 2007, and yes the academy will have an (Illeagl & Prohibited) overhire, they whined that because of "Future" vacancies, they will need these postions to fill them.

Don't worry about the current, and real vacancies at Central now, but let's worry about, and prepare for a future vacancies, that are probaby BS, and I bet non impending, imminent, or looming.

Sounds like pretty lame, and unpersuasive reason to me, but hey, what do you expect from the local and Management at the academy.

If I didn't know better, I'd think they had something (evidence), against someone
