I belong to a small fire house in ct that is ran by a 7 foot clown , And he has allowed the fd to be ran by the zoo crew . Hell! We have guy's that couldn't make paint run nevermind run a fire hose or a fire truck . So we are f@&%ed and so am I.

You girls are funny. Hey I have a question for you all.. What is the big secret? While I was making my daily stop at the general store, I ran into car16. I asked who was going to be the next chief. He said that he had someone in mind but would not realease the name. He said that if he told me then 216 would start something with 116. Then 4 and 516 would jump on 216. Then feeling left out, 6 and 816 would pick a fight with 4 and 516. Then 7 and 916 would come to the aid and start something with car16. All the numbers being bounced around gave me headache. So I purchased "Star's" cinnamon rolls and went home. Just curious....

Are we going to elect someone who has little knowledge about the area or what mutual aid has to offer? I wouldn't be surprised! Maybe its time to clean house in the lower ranks; like a lot of the younger guys who can't do anything but bitch about the officers. Or the older guys who smash everything and don't know how to pump after 20 years. The chiefs shouldn't have to hold everybodies hand all the time. Its getting old already!

I agree, and not the fact I agree because you are the one saying it. In a summary. It is time to clean house, get a little strict where it apply's. I have tremendous respect for the firehouse and people that give their all, with their knowledge. And it is time for each other to give support to the "higher ups" as needed. No more of this I am a officer, but do nothing.

I'm just as bad as others? And no I'm not out pumping cellars. I just got back from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Had to get some supersized towels for my little disgruntle career firefighter in rehab. He just realized that it's easier and safer to stay in rehab. Plus the EMS people love his sob stories.
