Again that is why there are Lts and Capts. They need to do the training. I will not step on toes. If I am asked to help with training I will but it never happens. New member at my other station asked me to help him get checked off to operate tanker. I told him to ask the chief and he said no problem. That was easy! The chiefs should do interviews when it comes time to pick their officers. Find out what the new officers can and will offer. The days of being an officer just because they are around are over.
