Why don't you get off your collective ass', and start asking some question in reference to the filling of the new Inspector's and Captain's job's.

Why don't you find out why they are re-opening the CERT, what all of a sudden were not qualified, or are they just trying to get their man or men in, and you know who were talking about.

Hey Ronnie, why don't you grow a pair, and start looking out for your "Brothers" here at Central, oh I forgot, you got yours, so "F" everybody else.

Well just remember this "Poopy", no matter what, you'll always be a small man, in more ways than one.

Here is the rumor that I heard, most of it attributed to Chief Jay...

There was 6 or 7 members from Central that made it through to the CERT list for Inspector. 1 or 2 declined the interview because they were only interested in the Capt. position (Ellis???) The remainder was interviewed. 5 were selected for an Inspectors position. 1 to Annapolis (Morrison?) and 4 here. The calls were made to offer the jobs to the 4 here but 2 of them turned it down. So as I heard it, those 2 wanted to go to Annapolis. 2 accepted the positions here. This leaves 2 openings here in which there was no one to fill the spots. Therefore, they have to go back for another CERT list since all the names on the first list declined (before or after the interview process) the jobs.

As for the Capt position... I have an interview on this coming Friday. Chief Barnes called me to schedule it. Check with him if you think the process can be sped up.

On to another rumor I have heard, Carl N. formerly at Carderock is returning to the fire service at Bethesda. Welcome Back CARL!
