There are times when honest guys and girls want to sell or are looking for a firefighter related item (i.e.: pagers, sam houstons, RIC belts, etc.) Instead of putting these in the threads of the regions, can you create a Thread specifically for buying and selling of stuff. I would make a few rules. I am also a member of a fishing board, its amazing how much stuff people want to sell and are in need of.
1) no commercial sales.
2) post a clear description of the item and the price you are selling it for.
3)If you want the item, post "I'll take it." Once a seller has accepted from a buyer, the seller must make a post saying that the item has been sold.
This will help by keeping the threads free of "garbage" plus people will have one place to look to find stuff to buy or sell.
