I didn't realize there was a specific area for Job postings. In the past I have been posting for the locality in Virginia that is hiring.
But I digress.
I try to keep an up to date list of hirings on VAFireNews.com (http://www.vafirenews.com/) and receive announcements from across the State. I usually keep the information up after it has closed so you know when the last cut off date was. However, the best way to ensure you have the absolutely correct information is to contact the locality.
Furthermore, a lot of departments are going to the open application process in that they accept applications year round and have testing throughout the year, offering a cut off date for each process. The enables you to get to the locality to test at several different times (in case you fail the CPAT for example).
Check out the employment (Fire/EMS Jobs) section of VAFireNews.com (http://www.vafirenews.com/employment/index.htm) for more information and the latest opportunities.
All postings are free, let me know if you have any questions.
Good luck
