I am looking for information on the cost of any aerials that your department has purchased recently. If you could also add the size of the ladder, and if it has a pump and carries water. Thanks.

To get an accurate idea, you might want to be a little more specific about aerial length, motor, transmission, and things like that. As I'm sure you're aware, aerials have a lot of range on options, and therefore, final price.

Latest aerial we purchased at work? 2007 Pierce Dash 100' RM platform, no pump or tank, 525HP Detroit Diesel, Allison 4000EVS transmission, dual 1000GPM monitors on the platform, 4-man platform ... $808,000.

My old mans' house has a 2004 Seagrave Marauder I/Aerialscope with and unequipped price of $913,000, but it had every light, every bell and whistle. It was around 1.1 mill. when placed in service. Hope that helps... it has a ton of stuff!!! Hands down the best ladder truck for the price, but ya need big wide streets to set her up!! :D

(2) 2007 ALF 100' midmount towers - $880,000. About $60,000 in equipment and mounting and we bought factory direct. 2000 gpm pump, no tank 260'+ of ladders.
(2006 Cat 525hp motors)

(2) 2007 ALF 105' tractor-drawn aerials - $795,000 same as above except no pump & 300' ground ladders. Units also have an 80gals. Airkwik system which was about $12,000 of the price.
