OK guys & gals..

emtbravo took some great pictures during his photo hunt.

Picture #1 - Barn Style Wodden Structure - This poses risks in many ways. There is something in this picture is very important to the first arriving. Who know's what it is?

After the answers arrive.. What are some other risks with this structure.

Picture #2 - This one is even more interesting. There are hazards out the ying yang here. Who can name them?

dis,

Regarding the Barn photo...the "For Sale" sign in front. Tells me the building's a likely target for a "Lightning" strike.

Your missing it big time. This is already a topic of discussion in the Allegheny, PA section. Go read it, from your answer to what it really is your gonna kick yourself in the seat.
Depending on if the insurance is up to date you could damn well have a solid point though.

Not too sure but does the white X designate condemed? In that case risk wins out over benefit besides the fact that if there are false ceilings in there then there are lots of hidden spaces....possibley with storage fire loads. Not a fun building to roll up on.

Photo 2....whew. Are those buildings unstable or is that a photographic illusion? They look like they're leaning away from each other not to mention the tree between them. Access looks very limited (if not impossible ) from the side facing the photographer (is that side charlie?). Besides the fact that there may appear to be less floors on the opposite side of the building than what this side shows. Looks like crates blocking the only "close in" access to the left of the picture. A truck driver's nightmare. I'm sure I missed a lot but these are really good "make you think" photos. Good job.
