Hi,
When the last ladder company of the Cincinnati F.D. was motorized in 1918 every piece of apparatus operated by a truck company was a tractor-drawn rig. This ended with the delivery of the first E One rear mount aerials in 1994.
At the December 8th Fleet Services auction one of the 1992 Seagrave aerials will be sold - leaving the other 1992 Seagrave as the only tiller on the department roster. With the number of rear mounts that will be available for use as spares it won't be long until the tillers are only a memory in Cincinnati.
Also, the 1990 GMC/Summit that operated as MAC 1 (Air Bottle Supply & Haz Mat) will also be sold. This rig has a beverage style body with 4 roll-up doors on each side and a 4-door crew cab. The link to the auction list is provided below.
