Yea I will start.

Today around 1015 hours, Delaware Rt. 1 and Rt 16, MVC reported with entrapment. Station 85, Ambulance A-93 from Beebe Hospital, Medic 101, Trooper 2.

90-18 (Hudson) on location with a two vehicle MVC with two patients. 90-18 advises a door pop will be all thats needed.

85-Command (Chief Rogers) on scene with Command, confirms a single door pop, cancels Trooper 2, request ground ALS to continue.

Last night, around 1930 hours, Indian River (80), Mid Sussex (91), Medic 106, Trooper 2 were alerted for a MVC on Long Neck Road in the area of Grotto Pizza. Initial reports to the units responding advised a single vehicle into the woods with possible heavy entrapment. Medic 106, Duty 91-10 (with the Duty Lieutenant), and A-91 all arrived on scene within two minutes of dispatch advising a single vehicle into the woods with two patients out of the vehicle and no entrapment. EMS crews assessed the patients as fire units from Indian River arrived. EMS crews advised 80-Command (Ruckle) that no avation would be needed.

Patients were packaged and transported by Medic C-91 to BMC. A-91, 91-10, and 91-40 were released by Command to handle a 3rd emergency in the district.

Indian River units remained on scene until DSP arrived.

Units responding A, B, C-91, 91-10, 91-40, 80-Command, 80-15, 80-5, Rescue 80, Medic 106, Trooper 2, DSP, DSFP.

Tonight, Just after 1900 hours.

Building 400, Creekwood Condos, Structure Fire, Rehoboth (86), Lewes (82), Bethany Beach (70) for the RIT, Medic 104.

Initial reports to the duty officer (86-25) were fire and smoke in the building with evacuations in progress. Asst. Chief Mitchell (86-18) on location with smoke showing on the A side, and a sprinkler system activation.

After investigation, Asst. Chief Mitchell advises a fire in an unknown apartment that was knocked with the sprinkler system. Held it to the Rehoboth Units only and the first two Lewes units to Station 2 for the cover up. Bethany units placed in service.

Units responding (I may have missed one or two) 86-18, 86-11 (with 25), 86-2, 86-4, 86-5, Tower 86, B-86, 82-4, 82-2, Quint 70, Medic 104, FM-10.

01-01-08

Just after 1500, Indian River (80), Mid Sussex EMS (91), Medic 106, and Trooper 2 were dispatched for a MVC on Long Neck Road in the area of Masseys Landing.

91-10 with Lt. Millman (91-42) and 80 Command with Deputy Chief Hawkins responded within a minute and were advised of a MVC, ATV vs a car, possibly serious.

91-10 arrived on location first to find the same with a single patient. Medic 106 and B-91 arrived next and assisted Lt. Millman with patient care. Deputy Chief Hawkins arrived and established Command, requesting Engine 80-5 to establish a landing zone in the parking lot of Masseys Landing.

EMS crews packaged the patient and placed him in B-91. B-91 transported the patient the short distance to Trooper 2. Trooper 2 transported the patient to CER

Units cleared up a short time later.

Units responding, 91-10, 80 Command, A-91, B-91, 80-5, Rescue 80, Medic 106, Trooper 2, DSP, DSFP.

Just after 2200 hours tonight, Indian River (80) and Mid Sussex EMS (91) were alerted for a MVC on Long Neck Road and Banks Road. Lt. Jake Adams (80-23) arrived on location shortly after dispatch and reported a vehicle into a pole with the occupant out. 80 Command arrived next and Capt. Jason Faulkner (80-19) established Command. A-91 and 91-10 arrived and were assigned to check the one patient. Crews from Indian River secured the vehicle and notified the power company regarding the damaged pole. A-91 obtained a patient refusal, and all units cleared the scene.

Units Responding, A-91, 91-10, 80 Command, 80-23, 80-5, Rescue 80, 80-1, DSP, DSFP.

YES you did my friend you missed Engine 82-5, Ladder 82 and Rescue 82 in your brief synopsis! ;)

I knew that I heard other units mark up but I didn't catch which units. I knew that 82-4, and 82-2 did the cover assignment. Thanks for the additional information.

Hey, Piggy, that bold font is OK when you are yelling at the boys in DC, but there's no need for it in slower lower Delaware.

As soon as that EZ-Pass toll plaza light flashes 'PAID', all the stresses of the western shore should start to ease. By the time you hook a left on Rt. 16, the muscles (such as they are) should be relaxing. When you cross into Delaware, there should be a big goofy grin on your face.

The bold just differentiates my words "NOW IF I DID THIS DAM IT" ;) then that would be me being an ass and thus no different than normal me!!:eek: ...

Shiiit when I look in my rearview mirror and see the B&W crossing over 50, I am relaxed :cool:

Love my days off in lower slower Sussex :o

30+ years in the fire department and I still hate truck work no glory in it such as putting the wet stuff on the red stuff...

Damn he found me on here LOL!! Well the ladder truck here has Yuuuk crosslays an Engine should be an Engine and a Truck should be a Truck never the 2 should meet!...... See you at work Sunday!

Earlier today

Indian River (80), Mid Sussex (91), Medic 106, Trooper 2, for the MVC, Rt 24 & Gull Point Road.

91-40 (Captain Johnson) on location with three vehicles, two in the roadway, one in the woods, with possible entrapment, also a total of five patients, three are priority 1.

80 Command (Brian Hubbs) arrives reporting the same. Requesting additional avaition (Lifenet), additional BLS (73, 82, 86, 91) and Deldot.

Patients were self extricated prior to FD arrival, all Fire units working assisting EMS with care and packaging.

1 Priority 1 to Christiana via Lifenet, 1 Priority 2 to PRMC via Trooper 2, remaining Priority 2 patients to BMC via A-91, C-91, and C-86.

Command held the remaining units to for a short time. Ambulance 73 transferred to Station 91 for the standby until 91 units got back in service.

Rescue 82 transferred to Indian River Station 2 for the cover up.

Units on location (may not be all, but these are what I heard) 80-Command, Rescue 80, 80-5, 91-40, A-91, C-91, Amb 82, Amb 73, Amb 86, Medic 106, Medic 103, EMS 100, EMS 18, Hazmed 1, Deldot, DSFP, DSP, Trooper 2, Lifenet 64, Rescue 82 to IRVFC Sta 2.

4-3-08

Sussex EOC dispatched Indian River and Mid Sussex for a MVC on John J. Williams Highway and Legion Road. A-91 arrived quickly to find a 2 vehicle accident with possbily four patients. 80 Command (Captain Nguyen) arrived shortly after confirming the same, establishing the Command, and requesting a 2nd BLS unit.

C-91 responded as the 2nd BLS unit. Upon arrival, Command advised that the remaining two patients were going to be refusals. C-91 obtained refusals, A-91 transported two patients to BMC. 80 FIre units secured the scene and vehicles and turned it over to DSP for investigation. Command held the firepolice to assist DSP and placed remaining units inservice.

Units responding, A-91, C-91, 80 Command, 80-5, Rescue 80, DSFP, DSP.
