Thanks for coming to the "Fort". And since you were in the area you made the 2 alarmer in Crofton. Sorry you diddn't get to see the Truck in operation, we couldn't get into the court, but we did get some work though.

Went by The Fort again today, and got some photos of 2 of the "coolest" looking Medic Units, I've seen in a long time. Thanks to EMS Chief "Jim Goetz" for making the photos possible, and to the gentlman who pulled them out for me. sorry I didn't catch his name.

The OD green ambulances were basically surplus rigs that were ordered to be shipped overseas. When Ft. Meade EMS needed new rigs, two were diverted to them. Currently the EMS section is not part of the fire dept. It is run by the clinic on post.
