The Audi tried to move tree but tree dont move.
Odd the car split like that. Wonder how fast they were goin. The speedometer is stuck on 90 km/hour (assumeing since this was in Germany). 90 KPM is equivalent to roughly 56 MPH. That shouldn't be enough speed to split a vehicle in half.

I have seen three incidents similiar to this in my career. All were small cars like this one. 2 were involved in hitting a tree t-bone and one involved a truck hitting the car t-bone. The outcome for the passengers were all the same. Not good.

I remember one where a car T-boned a late model mustang and split it in half.

Several years ago, had an incident involving a car that was a "clip". Slid sideways into a tree, and the car separated at the weld. Driver and passenger were still seatbelted in the front half, about 30 yards from the back end. :D (minor injuries)

2 years ago, green ford taurus ripped in half by a jeep cherokee that crossed the median. Nice little wreck, two PRI 1's via helo to trauma center.

Had one a couple of years ago when an suv T-boned a cavilier at an intersection while racing another vehicle. Two priority one fly-outs and three pri-3s. No fatals, very lucky. That was my first command.

the other day aroud 13:30 single car accident estimated speeds 90-100mph on a back road. you can tell they weren't from the area. hits a hill and bottoms out throwing the car into a ditch and the girl tried to swerve back onto the road and came across a and hit a tree splitting the car at the firewall leaving the engine and trany with the tree completly debarked and the car 50' away for the people in the car all had femur fractures one was a bi-lateral femur fracture in 3 spots and got ejected from the car and flew 70ft the only reason she didnt fly 100ft is because she hit powerlines when she got ejected. one girl was pinned under the car and 2 trapped inside. all 4 people were flown out

I've been on an incident where someone decided to commit suicide by going the wrong way on an Interstate and finding a truck to ram head on. closing speed of over 100mph. Car disintergrated and was scattered in pieces for a hundred yards or so along the highway. Let's just say she succeeded in killing herself. Truck driver transported for minor injuries and a psych evaluation.

No folding the roof there huh? Unless there were people in the back seat. :)
That is a serious impact! I have never saw anything that bad in 13 years.
I agree with PSU...you wouldnt think a car would split like that. I also noticed the 90km on the speedometer. Maybe the impact knocked it down some? :)

I had something smiliar: A guy was shooting up heroin while driving his car, when the heroin kicked in he noded out and hit a very large tree somewhere around 80-90 mph.
Needless to say he didn't make it, but atleast he didn't feel any pain.
