Relocated.....

I have recently (4 months ago) have relocated to the Charlotte area, I believe that would be the Charlotte metro FOOLS. I was a firefighter (voluteer) in western PA. Right now I'm lin between departments and looking for a department down here, I have put interest card in at places and am waiting for info and testing dates. I Tried the FOOLS chapter in Pittsburg A couple years ago, But due to time constraint (work and new baby) I was not able to continue.

I know the answer maybe obvious, but If I am in between departments can I still join the FOOLS or do I have to wait until I get on a department down here..

Should not be a problem, but it would be up to the chapter you are trying to join. As past president of CHESCO FOOLS, as long as you were willing to train, and make the meetings, then you would not have had a problem getting in.

Any questions let me know. $5.00 goes to our chapter. We are having our open membership meeting om April 1st 2008 @ 1900 at Millwood Station 21 in Frederick County, VA. I hope to see you there. Flashpoint...simply put, Fools were created to keep the brotherhood and traditions of the fire service alive...there are numerous Fools websites to check out...or google 'fools + firefighters'....some are www.foolsinternational.com (http://www.foolsinternational.com) , www.centralmarylandfools.com (http://www.centralmarylandfools.com), www.northernvirginiafools.com (http://www.northernvirginiafools.com)...just to name a few...
