Just kidding, hopefully it will be kept to a minimum. I understand that the process will be a little different this time. I also didn’t see the four year degree in the qualifications section!! That’s great news!! Anyhow, I just wanted to wish you all luck in my own special way. If you see Opie out and about, buy him a beer, for it was he who created this upward mobility for you. i tried to get opie not to leave, but i might as well talk to the wall, about like u. promotions will be ok, its been good so far , i would say its already picked , but its not so as we here from above word on the street the captains and AC' s are making the selection , the new captain could of been u , i would of voted for u :)

Yea, I guess I am hard-headed.. But I got the beach, sunshine, and cold beer.. And that’s all besides the most important thing I got back..my daughter. Anyhow, thanks for the vote, but I seem to remember being told that, “this is not a volunteer department,” or something along those lines. So, I am sure that your vote wouldn’t have counted. Then there’s the issue of lost ballots, but that’s off track. You would make a great CPT Benchwarmer! Is it really worth the headache is the question you have to ask yourself now? Now why would I give up running 6 off base calls in one shift. I haven't even run anything on base yet, other that in the raquetball court for PT, or the gym floor playing baseketball. And 3 days off between shifts is pretty good too so far.

Congrats Opie..(fitting name) on going back to Ft Myer. Things down here in the south are just swell..although MUCH slower than Mt weather ever was..but the Good news iI don't have a TS over my head, and the FF here are tossing up the Idea of a 48/48 shift with a 6 day break every 4th week. Yeah, I'll take a Six day vacation every month any time! Hopefully it'll work. Where did you go to WTF? Somewhere near the beach I suppose. well, we actually have a call, so I gotta go

Did I forget to mention running calls at the swimming pools and looking at the scenery there. The "fat boy" got lucky. Let him try that on the golf course.
