The Grasonville Volunteer Fire Department will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday August 16, 2008. The festivities will start at 4 p.m. (lineup 3 p.m.) with the start of the parade through Main St. Fire departments wishing to attend may call the firehouse at 410-827-8100. Following the parade will begin the celebration of 50 years of dedicated volunteer service to the citizens of Grasonville and Queen Anne’s County. Food and Refreshments will be available for all that attend. Trophies will also be giving out for the companies attending the parade. The department will be selling 50th anniversary shirts and mugs. Our department looks forward to seeing you there.
