I dunno that we're all firefighters, but some of us talk like we're 2. You know that. That said, the software thats part of the VBulliten upgrade contained an automatic filter that took out the usual profanities. Wasnt anything we did. Its being discussed on whether it'll be left or not.

You might get further with your request if you phrased it like a request, not a demand.

There's a big difference between talking trash and writing trash. Trash talking has been a part of firehouse culture for as long as guys have been battling the red devil. Posting the same kind of stuff in a forum like this loses much of its appeal, at least to me.

If you can't emphasize your point without profanity, I would suggest investing in a thesaurus (ask your mom for directions to the library, and remember to lock your bicycle in the bike rack out front).

i believe that with the serious nature of what we deal with that letting off steam is a good thing..........i also believe that people have to know the difference between the real world and the cyber world.......even though somethings get out of hand.......uncensored thread should be that(no matter what) censor the other threads but in unsencored leave it alone..............and people have fun with it and don`t get all pissed off over it because the bottom line is that when it is time to get serious we all know what we have to do

Funny thing is, the software lets me say Fuck, Cunt, Ass, Shit, Dick and Pussy...but blocks out K!!!! and B!!!!. Stupid if you ask me.,....
