DLA Department?

What exactly is DLA in harrisburg? I saw where there were prior openings on here for fire medics as i am. My gf and I are looking at moving to harrisburg so someone please help me here.

DLA is Defence Logistics Agency.

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) defense agency. DLA provides worldwide logistics support for the missions of the Military Departments and the Unified Combatant Commands under conditions of peace and war. It also provides logistics support to other DoD Components and certain Federal agencies, foreign governments, international organizations, and others as authorized.

Basically it is a supply agency to the Government. The facility is actually in New Cumberland next to Harrisburg.
