No the pictures will be back, I'm just trying to figure out where the line is between free speech of dipshits and my getting in trouble. Everything is still there you just can't see it.

Sorry to hear your being hasseled by the department about someone elses comments. “Don’t shoot the facilitator”. I know a Constitutional Law Fellow that would love to make some money of the DC Gov. She can help if needed

OMG. You HAVE GOT to be shitting me. Someone's got their panties in a bunch because of the stupid shit here?! Come on, it's a venting medium. Anyone who gets offended here should A). Not log on, and B). Be forced to wear a skirt. I hope THAT didn't offend anybody...

Phantom, In your mind it has nothing to do with freedom of speech or what the US Supreme Court has ruled and placed into law reguarding freedom of speech. Your concern is you, your personal version of freedom of speech and as you stated freedom of dipshits...There's quite a big difference between you being personally worried, you getting in trouble and the Laws that are set forth by the Constitution and the US Supreme Court, that pertain to freedom of speech.
I fully understand this is your site and you have the right to run it the way you want. Please make it fair all around. If you want to censor the DC threads, then censor MD, PA etc..the same way. If what i post in your mind is called freedom of dipshits and not freedom of speech, then come up with a way similar to a blog where each post is reviewed before its posted.
Thewatchdesk has become similar to the new state of the fire department, where things of the past which were accepted, are not today because of the sensitive nature of our human population. Im sorry i havent adopted to there sensitivity needs, as i consider myself to still be a blue collar worker who grew up in a blue collar atmosphere before i came on this job. If your main concern is people who think there feelings got hurt or might if they read a certain post, then your operating this site on your terms and most certainly not the laws which pertain to freedom of speech.
I do enjoy the pertinent and not so pertinent information which is posted on here. I dont have a problem with the opinions people have on here whether serious or not so serious ( exception of a few stalkers:D ). I enjoy very much the pictures of our department that Cosgrove and Rich post on here. Nothing on here to me is personal, even if Rich doesnt like what i post...He has his opinion as i have mine...Whether i like it or not, its left on the desk and thats it. The watchdesk is a venting tool for some and not for others. Threads in DC, MD are viewed alot, which shows many people are reading what we say. If the upper brass reads this and gets pissed, so be it. There the reason for the majority of the threads. And through are sattire and humor we vent for our own reasons. If Rich or someone else doesnt like it oh well. As i respect the picture thread, he should accept theres people like me that post for different reasons and just because i dont post a picture of an antique piece of apparatus shouldnt mean me and some others should be PERSONALLY censored.:)

And this is why we're called DCFEMS instead of DCFD. Hook, I like you better when you don't grovel.
