It sounds to me like he was able to use the Rosenbaum committee to get another self attaboy.
Professional Development: Implement Rosenbaum policies.
Professional Contributions: Tell people to do them while you don't have to and write about how great YOUR contribution to the EMS system has proven to be the best, while the backstep actually carries the ball.
Active Association Membership: Hold a CPR and EMT card and pay monthly dues.
Community Involvement: PODIUM TIME BABY!
Oh well maybe with this credential he can say something to get us out of trouble with the media all the time.

Chief, I feel safe to say "The Man" on channel 4 just rolled over in his grave. Incase anybody who reads the watchdesk does not know who "The Man" was on channel 4 was, just take a drive past 1227 Monroe St NE.
It bothers me so much that he wanted you to be the Chief of this Great Dept. Only to be disappointed maybe like other members that read the watchdesk.

Maybe it looks good to have the "C.M.O." to be the director of FEMA or the NFA. Either way, it's laughable.

10 years as a Chief Medical Officer with a Masters Degree
15 years as a Chief Medical Officer with a Bachelors Degree
20 years as a Chief Medical Officer with an Associates Degree (or international equivalent degree) & endorsement from your supervisor
*The Chief Medical Officer is defined as the individual with overall mandated responsibility.
It's a long application, these are just some of the highlights that just make you wonder.......how much do they really check into things before they sell you this designation. Again, it would be fun to see what he put down, I would also like to know if he has the EMS requirements they ask for. I wonder if his lover boy's who are at the top with him will do the same thing.
What a joke he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It didn't say anything about making up your own rules as you go and disobeying a union contract in the qualifications, I guess that makes him over qualified then.:D
