Good luck with it. Is the rear box bolted on? Our department's were and had to replace them a few times after they got damaged. I think we are going back to the rear mount in the future.

In an attempt to answer your questions:

Walter Reed AMC Fire & Emergency Services now falls under the command of the Director of Emergency Services at Ft. Detrick
The Director is Mr. Ray Wharton
The Fire Chief is Chief David Eskildsen
There is a Deputy Fire Chief position that has been announced and will soon be filled for the Forest Glen Division of the Fort Detrick Fire & Emergency Services. That person will oversee day to day operations as the agent of the Fire Chief at both sites until Mainside closes.
The two Assistant Chiefs are Bruce Fullenlove and Roger Lightner
The new tower will be assigned at station 55 [ Mainside } until BRAC closure takes place or the Command sees a need to reallocate it to station 54 and will eventually end up at station 54 with a crew to staff it.
The old truck as as indicated for now will be turned in to DMRO as surplus once the new tower is ready for service

They work (2 days 24hrs shift) 48 hrs on and 72 hours off I guess you can call it the LA County shift, they work 48/72
