It is with deep regret that the Stone Park Fire Department announces the death of Firefighter/Paramedic Jeffrey C. Bergstrom. Jeff was a member of the Stone Park Fire Department and Chicago Fire Department. The wake for Firefighter Bergstrom will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2004 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Hursen Funeral Home, 1401 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois. The Fire Department walk through will be at 7:00 pm, lineup at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Memorial Service will be at 10:00 am Monday, May 3, 2004, at the Freedom Baptist Church, 4541 Harrison Avenue, Hillside, Illinois.
Departments wishing to send fire vehicles to the Memorial Service should assemble at the church by 9:30 am. For further information please contact the Stone Park Fire Department at 708 450-3217 or the Village of Stone Park at 708 450-3201.
Memorial donations can be sent to the International Bank of Stone Park, 1615 North Mannheim Road, Stone Park, Illinois 60165.
