I was just wondering what steps i had to take to become a DC firefighter. Where would i get an application. I do have some questions though.
1. Whats the starting salary
2. What are some minimum qualifications
3. Do I have to run EMS
4. Am I over qualified since I have my High School diploma
5. Is it standard practice to cut fingers while extricating
6. Do you guys drug test (Evidently not)

Hey StaticQueer have you ever even been to WV. If you haven't than you have no idea. Where i come from it's called the EASTERN PANHANDLE it is the same up here as it is down there. I don't really consider us West Virginian's because we are in our own little world. We are 5 miles from Maryland, 8 miles to PA, and about 15 miles to VA. So when ever you get the time TRY AGAIN!!!
