I just love it, when most of the American car companies are struggling to stay in the black, I love to see you big bad union people buy overseas foreign junk, and slap a big old afl-cio iaff union sticker on it.

Yeah, thats the way to support your union Brothers and Sisters here in the US of A.

Please define what a present-day "American" car company is? I own a GM product that it appears that most of the assemblies and engine were built in Mexico, and a Nissan product that was assembled right here in the USA? Is one, both or neither of these vehicles "an American car"?

The Headquarters for GM is in Detroit MI, so all the money used to buy this vehicle stays in America.

The Headquarters for Nissan is in Japan, so all the money used to buy this vehicle goes to Japan, which sends a very small portion back here to help defray the cost of its plants here in "AMERICA".

Bottom line is "BUY AMERICAN", but I still love it when union members put afl-cio union stickers on foreign junk, it really shows there loyalty to their union Brother's and Sister's.

I disagree. If this is true, then how did my GM engine, proudly labled "MADE IN MEXICO", get paid for?

The unfortunate truth is there is no longer a way to "buy American" when purahasing a vehicle. I would guess the closest you can get is to by a Ford.
