Looking for a discussion on the Narrowband Compliance regulations which will be implemented within the next three years. Do all your radios needed to be compliant? How would a small company completely outfit all apparatus with new radios. I understand how the narrowbanding works, but I was looking for some info on the rules regarding the new compliance.
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has mandated that all Part 90 Business, Educational, Industrial, Public Safety, and State and Local Government VHF (150-174 MHz) and UHF (421-512 MHz) private PLMR (Private Land Mobile Radio) system licensees convert from what has been known as "wide-band" (25 KHz) operation to "narrow-band" (12.5 KHz or equivalent) operation by January 1, 2013.
Also, what new Motorola radios (Mobiles / Portables) are narrowband capable. Any radios that you suggest. What mobile radios have remote head capability.
Thanks in Advance
