Ok, let's vote for our favorite chassis manufacturer. New or old, just for fun.
First we'll have the commercial side.

Say what you want about commercial, but back in the day there were a whole lot of them around. Especially the Ford C cab. Damn shame they stopped making it, they would still be getting orders for it right now. I can't think but of a few firehouses I ever visited and did not see a C cab Ford in one variation or another. At one time my department had 6 of them in service.

Gotta love the old Freightshakers....pieces of crap. Had a Frieghtshaker chassis on the tanker, would constantly have problems at calls when most needed...sensors going off and shit. How about volvo for possibly the ugliest? While I am not an overall fan of the commercial lines of chassis, I would say I am happy with the Mack MR that our rescue body sits on. The E-one box is another story.

Why waste your time with commercial apparatus. They always say you get what you pay for. Go custom and go Seagrave, you cant go wrong.
