See the link below for the amazing story of Navy Civilian Fire Chief Lewis E. Meyer, who was taken prisoner in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive. Last month, Chief Meyer was awarded two Purple Hearts and the POW Medal thanks to the efforts of his local congressman.
