[PGC F.O.O.L.S]

There is a new chapter of F.O.O.L.S (FRATERNAL ORDER OF LEATHER HEAD SCOCIETY), any one is welcome to join, career or volunteer. Our chapter dedication is June 16,2004 at seacrets in Ocean City with the O.C. F.O.O.L.S (Alpha Chapter). We are also co-hosting the F.O.O.L.S party this year during the Firehouse Expo in Baltimore on Thur. July 15,2004. So if you are interested in joining come check us out at www.pgcfools.com

Thanks for the invite. However, I believe there was a snubbing of the DCFD by the charter chapter a few years ago and FOOLS has since been relegated to a marginal status in the minds of the firemen. Besides, we have the Emerald Society!

I can not say what happened in the past, all I know is DCFD is more than welcome and we would love to have any members from DCFD. this is about the brotherhood and promotion of it. We in no way want to compete with the Emerald's but I belive we can fill in the gap. Would love to here more from the DC guys on this subject.

I don't know about in the past but I spoke with the young lady at F.O.O.L.S earlier this year and she has been lookin for people from DCFD to get one started.

I was remiss in my getting it going, but I know of another LT that inquired also so they are receptive..

And some of us ain't Irish although some of my bestest buddies are Emerald Members ;) (yes I know u don't have to be a Mick u even have some WOP's)

I don't belive there is a gap to fill. I probably know the early FDDC members
of FOOLS. Maybe we should start our own Chapter. :D

dont get me wrong we would love this to evole to a metro dc chapter. I think if we have a DC and a PG etc chapter they will be only weaker. I think we care do more for the brotherhood as a unifed group

The DC pipes and drums will be playing at our FOOLS party in Baltimore at Tiki Bob's in the power Plant area on Market Street in downtown Baltimore. Thursday the 15th of July 1800 - 2100 $15 all you can drink beer and the pipes play at 2100. An east coast regional bikini contest at 2300. Come up and see if its something youre interested in and hear the Brothers play
