As most of you know by now, Lt Richard Kowalczyk, E18 #1, was hospitalized in serious condition after several medical "episodes."
After a successful surgical procedure last night, Lt Kowalczyk was discharged from Inova Fairfax hospital and is home resting and recovering.
Thank you to all the members of the DCFD that stepped up and stood "watches" at the hospital during his stay, and to all of you who signed up but were cancelled. Thankfully for the LT, there were way too many brothers willing to stand by with him and not enough days stay at the hospital.
Once again all of your actions and support make me proud to be DCFD.
