onyx, you are a fucking asshole, period. Just because we are located in an area where we don't run the tires off our apparatus doesn't mean that we don't serve a vital role in our communities. Shall I remind you that a fire is a tragedy...and I don't get any bit of excitment in watching someone lose everything they own, their home, their possessions, and in the worst case, injury or death. That's a god damn tragedy, and if it means that we run 3 calls a year, and our community is safe, we're damn pleased. If our trucks never roll, thank God. There will be times that we will be needed, and when we are, we'll provide our community members with the best that can be offered in emergency services. Because we don't run every 5 minutes, we work even harder to train to be ready when the call goes out. And as far as our equipment goes...we do the best we can with the little we're provided by the town, and we work our asses off to make up the difference.

As for Kentland, we have family and friends in that stations, true brothers in every meaning of the word. We have great respect for what they do, and I strongly feel if they were asked, they would say that they have no issue with any of their brothers from Scotland.

And to let you know, the man you called a retard is one hell of a firefighter, and I would follow that man in any building and know we'd get the job done and go home at the end of the call.

I work with a bunch of guys from montgomery county and some from p.g.
