This site is dedicated to those brave men and women of the Fire Service worldwide, who have given their lives in the performance of their duties. It is a daily remembrance of those firefighters who had died in the line-of-duty on that date.

This site is also dedicated to the members of the Newark, N.J Fire Department who have served, who do serve, and who will serve, keeping its rich history and traditions alive.

We will touch on the rich history and traditions of the Fire Service worldwide; the people, the machines, the battles, the victories, the losses; the whys, hows, whos, whens, and whats; the little known facts, stories, and trivia that have made the Fire Service and its members one of the most respected and trusted groups in the world.

While membership here is not mandatory, it is necessary if anyone wishes to participate in the group, such as posting pictures, stories, recipes, jokes, etc.
