Hey chief, where are you located in Colorado?

I live in Colorado Springs and have worked for several small districts in the metro area.

I may move out their to complete my undergrad in Mechanical Engineering. What's volunteering like out there? What's the chances of me getting reciprocity out there with my VA/MD certs?

If your certs are IFSAC or Pro Board, should be no problem. The call volume is nothing like the MD/VA area, and there are few working fires. There are even fewer fires that go well. We do a lot of wildland if you like that kind of stuff. When you decide what area you'll be living in, let me know and I can give you some department names and numbers.
